What it does

Paint Calculator & Estimator is a fast, focused Android app that answers one question: how much paint do I need, and roughly what will it cost? Enter the dimensions of a wall, room, ceiling, or a full multi-room project, adjust the number of coats, coverage per gallon, and waste allowance, and the app gives you a clear recommended purchase quantity in gallons along with an approximate cost.

Who it's for

Built for DIY homeowners, renters, and anyone planning a painting project who wants a quick, reliable estimate without doing the math by hand. It's equally useful for a single-room touch-up or for scoping out a full house repaint. There's no sign-up, login, or account of any kind — open the app and start calculating immediately.

Local project saving

When you want to keep a calculation for later, save it as a project directly on your device. Saved projects can be reopened, edited, or deleted whenever you like — all without a cloud account, since everything stays on your device.

This Privacy Policy explains how Paint Calculator & Estimator (“the app”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use the app. Paint Calculator & Estimator is designed to work without accounts, logins, or a backend server — most of what would normally be described in a privacy policy simply does not apply, and we say so explicitly below.

Data Collection

Paint Calculator & Estimator does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information to use the app. We do not operate a backend server, and the app does not transmit your room dimensions, project names, saved projects, or cost estimates to us or to any analytics service. There is no in-app analytics or event-tracking system in this app.

Local Project Storage

When you save a project (a wall, room, ceiling, or multi-room project), it is stored locally on your device only, using standard Android app storage. This data is never uploaded anywhere by the app. Saved projects remain on your device until you delete them in the app or uninstall the app, at which point they are removed along with all other app data, consistent with standard Android behavior.

Google AdMob

Paint Calculator & Estimator is a free app supported by advertising, delivered through Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK). AdMob may display banner ads and, occasionally, a single interstitial ad after you complete a calculation. Ad serving is handled entirely by Google; we do not receive or store any personal data through the ad SDK ourselves.

Google's Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process information as described in Google's own policies, which govern how ads are served and measured. We encourage you to review:

Advertising Identifiers

To serve and measure ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may access your device's advertising ID (a resettable identifier provided by Android, not tied to your name or account). You can reset or limit this identifier at any time in your device's Google Settings. Where required by applicable law (for example, for users in the European Economic Area and the UK), the app presents a consent form via Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) before requesting personalized ads, and a “Privacy Options” control is available in-app so you can revisit that choice at any time.

Third-Party Services

The only third-party service integrated into this app is Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK), used solely for displaying advertising. The app does not integrate any analytics, crash-reporting, or social SDKs, and does not share data with any other third party.

Permissions

The app requests network access, which is required for Google AdMob to load and serve ads. The app does not request or use your location, camera, microphone, contacts, or device storage permissions beyond what Android requires internally for its own app data.

Security

Because Paint Calculator & Estimator does not operate a backend server or collect personal information from you, there is no central database of user data for us to secure or that could be breached. Your saved projects are protected by your device's own security (screen lock, encryption, etc.), the same as any other locally stored app data.

Children's Privacy

Paint Calculator & Estimator is a general-audience utility app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app collects no personal information from any user, this applies equally to users of all ages.

Your Choices

• Delete a project: remove any saved project at any time from within the app.
• Delete all app data: uninstall the app, or clear its storage from your device's app settings.
• Advertising choices: reset or limit your advertising ID in your device's Google Settings, and revisit your ad-consent choice using the in-app “Privacy Options” control where shown.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the app or in applicable law. The “Last updated” date above will always reflect the most recent revision. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
